Our Story

We are an Indigenous joint venture between Raven Events and Mighty Oaks.

Raven Events is an Indigenous company based in the Coast Salish community of Tla’amin on the Sunshine Coast in BC. Started in 2010 as a full-service event management company, we created the Advanced Business Match (ABM), a forum to connect Indigenous and non-Indigenous decision-makers to create opportunities for business . ABM’s rapid growth quickly displaced all other business and became our sole focus.

Mighty Oaks is the Victoria-based software company that built the ABM business matching platform. We launched its first version in early 2019. It was obvious right from the beginning that a partnership would enable growth not achievable separately. Mighty Raven Technology was therefore formed, combining forces to optimize existing revenue streams and create new opportunities.
